I just discovered Stephanie Brown a.k.a Lips, a singer from New Zealand. “Everything to me” is a very cute song, i like the lyrics and her voice is very beautiful. That Christian Strobe remix is dope as well.

José James‘s new single is finally out, called “Trouble” off his upcoming album “No Beginning, No End“. It was released today. You can purchase it on itunes. First time I’ve listened to it was the Oh No remix on Lefto’s radio show #480 and listened to it on repeat. The single is really dope and groovy, and that Pino Palladino’s bass… !

I discovered this young artist a few weeks ago and I really liked his music. His artist name is Lonely Band, he is from Paris and sings and produces. 4 – First Crash by Lonely Band
Here is Sene‘s new project called “Exit, Us“, a 10 minutes compilation of songs linked by dialogs/interlude. Give it a listen and I’m sure you will love it as much as I do. This emcee is refreshing to me, makes me think of Blu and Jay Electronica (both for different reason : format, flow, lyrics, spirit…).
The first track is def my favorite with a dope first verse:

Chris Dave gave an amazing show yesterday in Paris at the club New Morning with Pino Palladino, Kebbi Williams and Tim Stewart. All amazing musicians. The show was so great with a bunch of covers between hip hop jazz and free jazz. Here for you two songs I recorded (with the iphone so don’t expect too great) : Fall in Love (Jay dee) and The Root (d’angelo).
