Aloe Blacc is in Paris for 3 days of promotions, for his upcoming album “Good Things“. I’ve spend the day with him Wednesday as Free your Funk was doing his showcase this night. Really nice and funny person, really professional, we went to a TV show called “La musicale” where he did 2 songs w/ a band + 2 on the piano, the show will be on in September. The live version of “I need a Dollar” is really dope. After a long day of work Aloe Blacc killed it at his showcase @ la Favela Chic singing over a CD for like 25 minutes I would say, nice energy. Yesterday Aloe Blacc did also 3 songs at the great hotel Mama Shelter and tonight he will be on stage for the Block Party in Paris with Common, Ben l’oncle soul and Oxmo Puccino.
