So Ali Shaheed Muhammad was in Paris Friday for a Native Tongues tribute with the frenchies Jazz Liberatorz. I wanted to share with you this video of Ali in Paris, he was opening his dj set. I didn’t record people and I should had because the place was packed ! Ali Shaheed Muhammad said something really true about the fact that a Tribute is usualy when you’re dead and I think we should celebrate people (people’s music) while they are still alive. This was a really good night, Ali gave a lot of love and received PLENTY!
The really good news we had was that Ali Shaheed Muhammad is working on a new album that should be out soon with some really good featuring as Jay Electronica or Phife! You should stay tuned!!
Rien de mieux qu’un nouvel album pour fêter les 20 ans de 3 feet high & rising en partenariat avec Nike (qui eux continuent dans leur campagne de pub en partenariat avec des artistes hip hop). L’album s’appel R.U.N (Are you in ?).
